Meet the Adventurers

  • Alistair (played by Gun)

Alistair McCloud

Born into a noble family of Glocklund, Alistair McCloud was forced into exile at age 7 when his family was betrayed and murdered by a rival house. Dwelling in the desert land of Dakar ever since, he recently set out on a grand journey. He has now committed himself to becoming king of Glocklund and avenging his family. He has no legitimate claim and makes no attempt to pretend otherwise, using rhetoric of justice and personal charisma to attract followers. An ambitious and clever man, Alistair’s speech often betrays a hint of a larger and more intricate plan, but he does not speak openly of whatever it may be.

Alistair fights in a one-handed cut-and-thrust sword style that places a strong emphasis on defensive maneuvers. He is limited somewhat by his full specialization in this style, though he is admittedly no stranger to a good fist fight.

  • Eyron (played by Bird)

Eyron Farhaven

Eyron was born into a very wealthy family. One of the richest in Freeport . For most of his childhood, he wanted for nothing; whatever problems he had, Daddy’s money could fix.

As he grew older, he was taught to fight and shoot a bow by a tutor his father hired, just in case. He also grew rather fond of wine, women and song. However, as time went on, Eyron’s father began to grow annoyed
about his son laying about doing nothing.

Not really wishing to get a “real” job, Eyron ignored his father’s constant demanding but eventually, he got sick of it. So, taking as much money from his father’s safe as he dared, he packed his bags and left home under the cover of night.

Eyron’s money ran out rather quickly due to his want to  impress people and his general lack of common sense,
so he began taking small adventuring jobs here and there to make ends meet, living in taverns for as long as he could before leaving for another town.
  • Levi (played by RagingLunacy)

Levi Helwail

Levi, much like the majority of his family, is attuned to magic.  From all the available choices and elements in the fields of magic, Levi’s main, arcane strengths flirt dangerously with the art of Necromancy.

Unlike the stereotypically haughty Freeport nobles, Levi tends to show himself as more of a gentleman. A normally-silent gentleman who remains rather aloof for the majority of the time. However, he does have a quirk of stubbornness to him that tends to make itself known during crucial times.

His reasons for assisting the group in their ventures are still unknown, however it’s rather clear that he means well.

  • Xilaire (played by SatuMitsumi)

Not much is known about this one. The most anyone has been able to say is that she’s a klutzy woman who resided in Freeport at one time. That, and that she’s a mage. It is not clear how knowledgeable this young woman is in the arcane arts, however it’s evident that she takes her art with great seriousness and has a tangible fervor for learning. She has a talent for the restorative arts as well as the destructive (however, she tends to favor restoration magic over destruction magic).

This aloof figure is normally seen near the rear of the group (or in the center, if danger happens to be nearby). But whatever she does, whenever she is paying particular attention to something across the room, to the words on a scroll, or even to another person, she always does so with a smile.

  • Ademar (played by Raiela/Flamechimera)

A happy and go-lucky monk with a heavy perchance for drinking, Ademar is not normally one to talk about his past.  Well, it’s either that, or he’s simply too far into the barrel to remember it.  He never seems to be angered or cross with anyone, even an enemy who is attacking him, and due to his rather low-class poor appearence, is often taken more lightly than a man his stature should be.

Ademar is more often than not following Xilaire around, who he affectionately treats as a little sister.  Although not much is known, it’s quite obvious they have known eachother for far longer than they have known the other members of the party, and act very familiar with one another.

Despite this close connection, he eventually left the party, deeming himself more a hazard than a help to his friends, due to his drinking habits.  But from his affection of showing up at the right moments, who is to say he won’t turn up again?

  • Meep (played by SatuMitsumi)

A baby turtle the size of the average woman’s palm, Meep is the honorary member of the troupe, making up for what he lacks in brawn with sheer adorable. He’s often seen riding on the heads and shoulders of various party members (mainly Mother Xilaire), chiming in at whatever catches his interest.

He’s active for a baby turtle—he takes every opportunity he can to rush away from Mother and right into mischief (with the help of some of the party members). He’s often seen either wearing a bright red chullo or a Viking hat.

  • Vann (played by Raiela/Flamechimera)

The elves are a race of technological wizards rather than tree-lovers, and Vann is no exception.  Though normally the elves keep to themselves in their cities of metal, Vann found a fascination with the ‘lower’ races, and ventured off to see how these more primitive people lived.  He eventually found himself in the company of a whole party of these so called ‘lower’ races and found himself pleasantly surprised.

Although the exposure of his now-friends has toned down his snooty personality, the friendly archer cannot help himself but let his years of ingrained ‘superiority’ show to his friends at times.  Even so, he is not one to abandon them, even if he does leave for his own little adventures from time to time and get more than a bit lost.

  • Arani (played by Dazz62k)

Arani Ovkak

In many ways, she is your stereotypical dwarf.  She loves a good drink and good company. Fighting  is something that Arani excels at and having been trained in the art of boxing she much prefers to crack ribs and break noses with her fists than use the sword she was once given.

Fighting to survive is not the whole of it. Arani is more than willing to put her gold where her fists are and step into a ring against anyone that dares to under-estimate her (the one time that happened..There’s a guy somewhere in this world that is incapable of reproducing)and gambling in general with cards or dice.

The general consensus between most that have seen her fight is that she is not someone to be reckoned with lightly. Nevertheless, she’s a light-hearted dwarf and seems to be laid back in all situations. Arani cares much for her travelling companions and does everything she can to help them from breaking an enemy to attempting to cheer them up and offering them a drink, including Meep who seems more than happy to drink with her (though she only ever gives him a drop) much to the annoyance of Xilaire.

It has yet to be seen if she is capable of being in a truly   bad mood, the closest she has been to such is a mild annoyance at the lack of alcohol in a town.

Regardless, Arani can be seen with a smile on her face   and is pleasant to talk to.
